By using 3 mouse lines, Jong-Nam identifies an important protein-protein interaction region of CATSPER beta, which affects the stability of a neighboring subunit delta, thus canopy assembly and the subsequent pore-forming channel, rending the mice missing this interaction region completely infertile.
